How are credits consumed?
In proportion to the depth and breadth of what you ask. A concise, single-domain query draws the least; a deep, multi-domain query draws the most. Browsing the Data Center draws zero credits on any active plan.
Do unused credits carry forward?
No. Pay As You Go credits are valid for 7 days from purchase, and Pro credits are issued per billing cycle - neither carries forward beyond the term.
What is Bring Your Own Key?
If you already have an AI model key, connect it and unlock a much larger monthly credit allowance for platform features. The Data Center still runs on zero credits.
